Work

What I
do.

Four ways the same underlying work — reading Cambodian law from the source — becomes useful to courts, counsel, investors and the profession.

Expert evidence

Cambodian law, explained to foreign courts and tribunals.

Expert reports and testimony on Cambodian private, commercial and regulatory law for proceedings and arbitrations seated outside Cambodia, plus country-conditions analysis where the facts of a jurisdiction are in issue.

International arbitration

Support, analysis, and appointments across the region.

Research and analysis for disputes touching Cambodia and the Mekong, correspondent support for foreign counsel, and arbitrator work as the practice develops. Grounded in primary Khmer-language sources most parties cannot access.

Advisory & integrity risk

Counterparty, compliance and political-legal risk.

Counterparty exposure reviews, integrity due diligence, sanctions and designation analysis, and bespoke political-legal risk assessments for investors, funds, and institutions operating in or around Cambodia.

Writing, translation & teaching

The public corpus, plus training for the profession.

Commentary and analysis published under my own name; annotated English translations of key Cambodian legal instruments; and executive masterclasses and guest teaching — including reserved seats for Cambodian practitioners.

Cambodian legal advice is provided through CSP & Associates by members of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. My own work is legal research, analysis, expert evidence and training.
